So I can't believe that my little angel is just about 2 months already!! It seems like the time is just flying. Watching her everyday has been such an amazing experience. To watch her grow, laugh, play, and steal the hearts of us all has been incredible.

I can't imagine life without her and I find myself in disbelief, saying "I can't believe she's mine!"

Right now she is the most awesome baby! She sleeps pretty much the whole night and is gaining weight steadily. She even seems to be quite talkative! When changing her diaper, she loves to talk to us, telling us "Good Morning" and "Hi!" and "I love you".

She's just amazing and we are the luckiest parents ever! Here's some new pics of little Miss Annelyse. Enjoy!

Our Angel Has Arrived!

Miss Annelyse Kaelyn Franco made her debut on August 31st 2009 at 12:17 pm. She was a healthy 5lbs 13oz and was 19 inches long! We were so happy to finally meet our little princess. Even though mommy was right about her coming early. She was 2 weeks early!!

I was very lucky to have had a great birthing experience, despite the fact that I started having contractions at 5pm on Sunday Aug 30th and she wasn't delivered until Monday Aug 31st. I was kind of hoping that she would be a September baby, but I am so happy she's here!

Baby Shower!!!

Last Saturday, we had the most awesome baby shower! Our little bundle of joy was showered with so much love and care from people who are amazing! Not only was she showered with all the love and care you could ask for, but she also received so many items that will definitely get us really for baby!

We couldn't be more grateful for our friends and family that helped celebrate such a special occasion.

It's getting close!!!

So I have not been very good at keeping you all updated with how things are going, but I've just been super busy, and not to mention, TIRED! I am about 33 weeks and I am still working full-time at a bank. I sometimes work Saturdays, so you could imagine how tired I am.

However, baby and I are doing great. Little Franco is a perfect angel and I couldn't be more thankful. She doesn't keep me up at night, she's not demanding about eating, and pretty much goes with the flow.

Here's a pic of me and my tummy at 32 weeks. I will try and keep you posted since its really getting close to "D-Day". Enjoy!

After the greatly anticipated wait, the results from the ultrasound is:

A surprise!!!

The Sonographer couldn't get a clear shot. So Baby Franco is a bit modest.

We were instantly hit with amazement to see our little one, and we are no where near disappointed. Children are truly a miracle and we are truly blessed.

At this point, we're not sure if we're going to proceed with finding out the sex and just wait until September. For now, just seeing a healthy baby is enough for me. I will post the ultrasound pictures ASAP. Thanks for all of your support!

Can't Wait!!!

Tomorrow is the big day and I can barely wait!!!! I am really looking forward to seeing our baby in actual "Human Baby" form. We haven't had an ultrasound since 9 weeks, so actually being able to see the little arms, legs, fingers, and toes is going to be amazing!

Like any mother-to-be, I am also a little nervous. I guess its just wanting to be sure that your little one is doing fine and developing healthy and strong.

Stay tuned for the results tomorrow. I will be sure to announce the sex as soon as possible.

April 15th!!! Battle of the Sexes!!

So a week from today we will have our big ultrasound. Hopefully we will get a peek at our little one, healthy and strong. Also, we hope we will find out whether we are expecting a little girl or a little boy!!

The wait is painful, but I know when the day comes, the wait will be worth it.

Put in your vote on whether we're having a boy or a girl. I will be updating you as soon as we find out, but until then, the wait will continue.

Time is Flying By!!!

Well tomorrow, we will hit the 4 month mark, and man, is time flying!!! It feels like just last month we got the exciting news that we're expecting, and now here we are 4 months pregnant!!! I wanted to just write a little update to keep you all posted on how things are going. I feel the need to try better to actually do this!!

At this point, the pregnancy is progressing very well and I have very little to complain about. I'm feeling great, and loving my changing body. We had a prenatal appointment last week and we were able to hear the baby's heart beat!! Which I have to say was the most amazing feeling....maybe only second to actually seeing the baby for the first time.

April 15th will be a very exciting day for us as we will have our "Big" ultrasound done, and we can't wait!! We will be able to have a detailed look at our growing baby. Being able to see the baby's fingers, toes, and face is just too exciting for words. Now only will we get to take a peek at our little one, but we may also be able to tell whether we need to prepare for the arrival of a princess or for the arrival of a little slugger. My heart can barely take the suspense, but its all worth it.

Tomorrow Pete will take a picture of my growing belly and I will post it as soon as possible. Until then, Ciao!

Trimester 1.....DONE!

So I know I haven't been doing a great job at blogging, so I thought that I would put together a quick one to update you all on how we're doing. So far, we've been doing great. Baby is fine and healthy, and mom-to-be, hanging in there, but enjoying every moment.

So there's the bump!!! Where did that come from???? Pete says that it just appeared within the last week or so. I can't believe how fast the time is going. I know that before we know it, Baby Franco will be making its grand entrance and we will finally be parents. How exciting.

So today is going to be one of the longest days known to man, and tomorrow even longer. Tomorrow we're going in for our first ultrasound and we're hoping that everything is going well. We weren't so lucky last time around, but this time things seem to be going good. We're just going to keep praying and hope that everything will turn out okay.
